David Anders is a television and stage actor who is best known for his roles in iZombie, The Vampire Diaries, Children of the Corn (2009) and The Revenant. He also appeared in Heroes, Once Upon a Time, Alias (both the series and the video game) and more. This is David’s FIRST horror convention!
Doug Jones is one of the most prolific men behind the makeup. His roles include Billy Butcherson in Hocus Pocus, Abe Sapien in Hellboy, one of the gentlemen in Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s award-nominated episode “Hush,” both Fauno and the Pale Man in Pan’s Labyrinth, The Ancient in The Strain, and many more, including Count Orlok in the upcoming Nosferatu. He has also worked outside the makeup in film, tv, commercials, and even music videos.
Keegan Connor Tracy has spanned the genres with her roles, from horror to drama to Disney. She’s appeared on the small screen in the Bates Motel series and on Creepshow (segment “To Grandmother’s House We Go”) as well as in the films Dead Rising: (both) Watchtower and Endgame, 2023’s movie “Z“, and of course Final Destination 2. She has also directed, been part of the Women in Film and TV mentorship program, written a children’s book, and has a cookbook in the works.
Jeremy Davies is an award-winning actor who has starred in films such as The Black Phone, Dark Harvest, Helter Skelter, and of course Saving Private Ryan and Twister, as well as on TV in American Gods, Sleepy Hollow, Lost, and Justified. He also received a BAFTA award for his portrayal of Baldur (voice) in the God of War video game.
John Russo began by co-authoring the screenplay for George Romero’s horror classic Night of the Living Dead. He went on to write the screenplay for Return of the Living Dead, multiple films of his own (several of which he directed), and over forty books, including many in the world of the living dead. Scare Tactics is among his three books on the art and craft of movie making, which have all become indie film bibles.
Genevieve Buechner got her first lead role, at her first audition, in the independent film St. Monica at the age of ten. Since then, she’s been cast in films like The Hollow Child, The Final Cut, and Jennifer’s Body, has appeared in episodes of genre series, including Supernatural, The X-Files, the 100, iZombie, R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour, and Masters of Horror, and has most recently delved into performance capture and mo-cap, voicing Ashley Graham in the 2023 remake of Resident Evil 4.
Malcolm Goodwin is best known as Det. Clive Babineaux on the hit series iZombie, but also appeared in The Fall of the House of Usher, Reacher, Ring Ring, and episodes of True Blood, Bones, and Scary Endings. He has directed multiple shorts, movies, and episodes for television series.
Daniele Serra is an award-winning Italian artist with over 300 book covers, internal illustrations, and comic adaptations for authors such as Stephen King, Clive Barker, Ramsey Campbell, Tim Lebbon, and Joyce Carol Oates. His main influences come from the world of horror literature and Japanese horror among others. His own book of art is now available from PS Publishing.
Jeffrey Reddick is the creator of the Final Destination series and wrote the first two installments. His other film credits include the ’08 remake of Day of the Dead, The Final Wish, Dead Awake, and more. And it all began when he wrote a treatment for a prequel to A Nightmare on Elm Street at the age of fourteen and mailed it off to New Line Cinema.
Jonathan Cherry is a cross-genre Canadian actor known in horror for his roles in Final Destination 2, the video game film adaption of House of the Dead, Wes Craven presents They, as well as episodes of Supernatural and The Outer Limits.
Jeff Goodwin is a multi-award nominated and winning make-up and FX artist with over 40 years of experience in the film industry. His credits include The Black Phone, Mr. Mercedes, The Sinner, Under The Dome, The Swamp Thing (tv series), and Scream 5. He founded Transformations Makeup FX Lab in 1995 and is now part of Bearded Skulls Makeup and FX Group.
Richard Band is the composer of over 100 films, such as From Beyond, for which he won best original soundtrack. His work includes Re-Animator (series), The Pit and the Pendulum, HP Lovecraft’s the Old Ones, and the Deep Ones, plus the Puppet Master (series and video game), Ghoulies, the Casper video game, Dolls, and so much more.
Daniel Kash is a Canadian actor and film director who made his first appearance on screen as Private Spunkmeyer in Aliens. He went on to appear in such genre films as Nightbreed, Mama, and Diary of the Dead, as well as in television series The Strain, Goosebumps, Hannibal, Bitten, and Slasher: Ripper, and voice work for games like Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate – Jack the Ripper.
Chris Alexander is a Canadian-based writer, filmmaker and music composer. He is the former editor-in-chief of iconic horror film magazine FANGORIA and the editor-in-chief/co-founder of DELIRIUM magazine as well as the writer, director and composer of numerous avant-garde feature horror movies, including Queen of Blood, Space Vampire, Scream of the Blind Dead, Parasite Lady, and Female Werewolf. He is a professor of horror film history at Canada’s Sheridan College and is the author of the bestselling book CORMAN/POE, released in 2023 from Britain’s Headpress Publishing.
Matt Blazi is a life-long admirer of horror movies and independent films, and fan of George Romero, he appeared in both Land of the Dead and Survival of the Dead and was interviewed for the upcoming documentary George A Romero’s Resident Evil. His love of the filmmaking process steered him to learn all he could about the making of The Blair Witch Project. He established The Blair Witch Experience in 2013 (an annual event which takes fans on in-depth tours of the film’s locations) and has now published 8 Days in the Woods: The Making of the Blair Witch Project.
Rio Youers is the British Fantasy and Sunburst Award–nominated author of Lola on Fire and No Second Chances. His 2017 thriller, The Forgotten Girl, was a finalist for the Arthur Ellis Award for Best Crime Novel. He is the writer of Refrigerator Full of Heads, a six-issue comic series from DC Comics, and Sleeping Beauties, a graphic novel based on the number-one bestseller by Stephen King and Owen King. Rio’s latest novel, The Bang-Bang Sisters, will be published by William Morrow in summer 2024.
