Horror on Main is on Hiatus
What that means? The hotel is not only stalled mid-construction, but for sale, so it will not be finished until the sale goes through and the new owners pick up the work.
|
And we cannot in good conscious bring celebrities into the hotel under such conditions, plus we're missing an entire ballroom (which you may have seen their attempt at correcting with an outdoor tent).
|
We love our hotel staff, the location, the layout... all of it. Just not the construction. And we don't dare move again, as that would be the kiss of death.
|
Add to all that, the current economy which makes it difficult to budget for expensive signed photos and vendor goods, plus food and hotel and travel. So considering all things and looking forward, we are concentrating on The Grim Market for the time being.
|
Will Horror on Main come back? We don't know and hate to make a decision while in limbo at the hotel. In the meantime, the website, facebook page, and newsletter will go quiet, staying static with the info we know and have. The Facebook group is being deleted for all these reasons and more.
|
But we do have The Grim Market, a 2-day market with over 100 vendors, for all things Horror, Halloween, Witchy, and Gothic. Right up our alley!

SATURDAY & SUNDAY, November 21 & 22, 2026 at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel (same hotel), in the back ballroom and lower event spaces — accessible past the front desk on the main level (3rd) or via the back parking lot. FREE Parking.

only $6.00 at the door or online. 12 and under are FREE with a paying adult.
And if you come Saturday, keep that wristband on and Sunday is FREE.

Raffles are drawn 4 times each day. Raffle tickets are given with each event wristband, as well as earned from each vendor purchase you make.
