Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water...
We just wanted to hit you one more time and remind you of these things:

FRIDAY NIGHT - Quite literally, we want you to SCREAM! Bring your lungs and laughter. Signup sheet is at the ticket counter. Limited number of contestants allowed, so don’t delay. Take your turn terrifying our judges! Screams will be judged on pitch, power, and passion. Top 3 winners receive a prize and bragging rights.
Contestants: line up at the back of the Town Hall (tent) by 9:00 pm.

SATURDAY - But wait, it’s not just a costume contest. To involve all guests of honor as judges, we’re changing things up! Each guest of honor has a limited number of judge tokens to give out during the day on Saturday, from 3pm to 6pm. They will hand them to their favorite costumes—funny, realistic, or terrifying, it’s their choice. Saturday night, at 7:00 pm we’ll see who has the most tokens (votes)!
Must be over 13. Individual and group categories are judged separately this year. The winners receive a prize. Stop at ticket counter for token bag and info.
Token holders: line up at the back of the Town Hall (tent) by 7:00 pm.

Why is the costume contest for 14 and up? Because after much discussion and debate, we feel that people put a lot of work into their costumes and it's unfair for a kid to win because he's "the cutest Jason that ever was"... but he doesn't usually make the costume, an adult does. So to make sure the people putting in the work are getting the credit and votes, we've limited the age for the costume contest.
BUT we really do think he's the cutest little Jason, or Ash (I've seen that one!), or Freddy, or whoever and we love that they're in the spirit of things. So we're doing a trick-or-treat for those under 14. Saturday from 1-3pm all the kids (costume or not) can trick-or-treat at each of the Vendor tables and the Guests of Honor.

Announcing a new kind of RAFFLE!
This year we're introducing a different way to do a raffle. There is no "price" for tickets. Rather, whenever you purchase something (big or small) from a vendor, you get a raffle ticket from them. Tear it in half and drop one half into the bucket near the raffle item you are interested in and cross your fingers.
Everyone gets 1 ticket at the door, but extra raffle tickets come with our Saturday Plus and Weekend VIP passes... we have a couple left if you haven't gotten your tickets yet. And reminder, ALL discounted online ticket sales end at midnight. Tickets will be available at the door at normal price.
Raffles will be drawn several times over the weekend (times will be listed on the Raffle Board). You must be present to win. The raffle items will be on tables at the front of the vendor room.
